Gabi started making empanadas in 2013 with her mom, Lilia every Saturday at the City of Fairfax Community Farmers Market in Fairfax, VA. They shared their culture and how empanadas meant family, friends, and fun in their home town Mendoza, Argentina. A year later Gabi married Tyler, who had a big passion for food trucks and the real adventure began…

Gabi and Tyler bought a food truck with the help of Gabi’s mom, Lilia in March of 2015. They got so booked, they had to quit their full time jobs! So they fully committed to serving the most fresh and delicious handmade to order empanadas in the area. 

After two years of making a lot of customers very happy, they opened a store front in Lorton, VA where they have their production kitchen and food truck’s home.

The expansion didn’t end there! The Tysons Corner Galleria Location was born in 2022 when one of Gabi’s old friends reached out looking for a local food vendor that could elevate street food taking it to the next level. 

After two food trucks, two restaurants and two babies, they are still very proud of what they have been able to accomplish with their very own hands, the most tasty HAND MADE empanadas! Say hello if you see them. They are always happy to hear your story!
